Shoot a Hoop with Connor Washington

The Embankment are sponsoring an inspiring young athlete, Connor Washington, who has high hopes of making it to compete in the 2012 Olympics in basketball. In conjunction with a brand new charity shop that has just opened in Bedford called Sports Traider, we are inviting you to learn how to shoot a hoop with Connor's assistance. We are charging £1.00 per hoop with all the proceeds going to Connor's funds and the Sports Traider charity. Law of averages says that for every 10 hoops shot, 8 are winners and if you the lucky one you get a drink on us! So come down between 11am and 4pm to try your luck. For more information on Sports Traider, who are supporting a number of different projects for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults throughout Bedford in sport, please visit their website at www.sportstraider.org.
