All-change at The Embankment
We’ve had a super spruce up which has us an even lovelier place to find good things to eat and drink and new manager Ben Paul can’t wait to tell you about it!
Our interior has a smart new look bringing us right up to date, and we’ve got new signage outside too!
Inside it’s very chic, with muted stone, dramatic grey and grey blue walls, statement wallpaper and splashes of vivid colour from comfy new furnishings and accessories. All the original wood wall panels are now soft grey with elegant new wall coverings above, and there are new green velvet sofas by the fire, dotted with bright ikat print cushions in trendy navy, green and coral. Spot the vintage plate collection lining the new alcove shelving in the eatery and sink into the gorgeous new booth seats in rich Racing Green leather.
Sleek glass shades hang above the bar and eatery and to echo our glorious riverside setting, we’ve hung original artworks of fish and birds created by illustrator Mick Manning on the walls.
New manager Ben Paul says, “It’s all-change here with a fresh, sparkly spruce up in the bar and eatery and we’re thrilled to bits with our new appearance. If you’ve not checked out our new look, make sure you do soon – it really does accentuate all our best features!”
