HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN CARVING COMPETITION
To celebrate All Hallows Eve, we will be holding our annual Pumpkin carving competition. Pick up your pumpkin from 23rd October and bring in your creation before 31st October when we’ll be announcing the winner at 7pm.
We’re very mindful of our carbon footprint and our waste so you’ll also find a note with your Pumpkin with some ideas as to what to do with your Pumpkin flesh.
HALLOWEEN BOAT PARTY
Put the fun back into Halloween and join us for a two-hour cruise filled with bubbles, bites and music in your best Halloween fancy dress!
We set sail at 7pm, so whether you fancy a gin on the jetty or whisky on the water… Be sure to call the pub now for more information and to book your place! Tickets are £40pp all inclusive.
We’re partnering with Sarah Diane Creative and offering a three-day sewing retreat. Uninterrupted sewing and seasonal food, all in the beautiful setting on the banks of the River Great Ouse. Christmas Eve Eve – Jumper Party
Don your worst Christmas jumper and be in with winning one of our prizes! Any excuse to dig out your best, and celebrate that Christmas is only round the corner. Book a table for dinner or just join us in the bar for a mulled wine. Or two. Live music from 7pm.
We’re closed for the day to stuff themselves with turkey and then gently nod off in front of the fire.
We’ll be ready to nurse any hangovers from 10am. Join us for our Boxing Day Best and Burger Specials from 12pm. Book early as we’d hate you to miss out.
New Year’s Eve
See in the New Year with a group of friends or family, good food and a couple of drinks. It’s a social affair, just add your choice of party goers. Whether you’re a four or a fourteen, book your table early. Bookings from 6pm-8.30pm, with early sittings vacated within two hours. Or if you’re joining us in the bar, just pop down from 9pm.
Once we’re full, we’re full. DJ till late.
New Year’s Day
It’s business as usual, serving Bloody Marys for those with a sore head and our delicious full a la carte menu.
The perfect way to celebrate the end of Dry January, you hero! There’ll be a DJ in the bar and a fully stocked bar to fulfil all your Dry Jan day dreams.
