        Another three-day weekend! Join us for a great roast on Sunday, before easing into Bank Holiday Best with a bloody mary, burger or superfood salad – there’s something for everyone.

          Embankment Sewing Retreat

          We’re partnering with Sarah Diane Creative and offering a three-day sewing retreat. Uninterrupted sewing and seasonal food, all in the beautiful setting on the banks of the River Great Ouse. Stay with us at The Embankment, and the lovely Sarah Fletcher will be on hand with Georgina Cox to provide expert help.

          In addition, we have the fantastic and experienced Angela Cooper – Yoga With Coops – providing a candlelit yoga session on day two.

            An Evening with Budge Rogers

            Join us for an evening with Bedford’s most celebrated former player and ex-England captain Budge Rogers. In a Blues career that spanned over 20 years, with 485 appearances, five seasons as captain including lifting the 1975 National Cup; and wearing the jersey of England, the British and Irish Lions and the Barbarians in the 1960s and 70s, it’s fair to say the flanker has made many great memories.

            There’ll be a pint of Eagle on arrival, and after hearing Budge’s stories, enjoy a delicious two course meal.
