Pudding Club strikes again!
Last night saw the latest of a long line of very successful Pudding Club events here at The Embankment. Following a warm up course of Roasted Free-range Chicken Breast, Grilled Leeks, Morel & Wild Garlic Jus, Kyle showed of his patisserie prowess with 8 (you heard) magnificent puddings for all 37 of us. From Trifle to Tiramisu, Banoffee Pie to Lemon & Lime Posset – sugar was flowing through everyone’s veins!
This time, we were joined by the lovely Dom from Boutinot Wines, who took us on a journey through sweet wines, with six delicious numbers, followed by the world’s sweetest (no really) Sherry, and a very classy Port. All in all, everyone had a total of over 500ml of dessert wine – the room was very merry!
