Serving up a new dish for Sports Traider

We’ve kicked off our latest fundraiser for local sporting hero Lance Haggith’s Sports Traider to help youngsters achieve their sporting dreams!
Head chef Sam Collins has created a fantastic new Superfood Salad which is now on the menu and the really good news is that for every one we sell, we’ll give 25p to Sports Traider to help give disadvantaged kids from the area the sporting break they need.
Sports Traider is a brilliant local youth-focused organisation which offers kids the kit and support they need to get into sport, whatever their background. We’ve raised money for them in the past supporting talented sporting stars of the future and we’re pleased to be able to help them again.
Right now on the menu we’ve got a new Superfood Salad of black rice with shaved fennel, sprouting broccoli, chai seeds and pomegranate dressing which not only tastes delicious but is also a healthy option too. Have it for a starter or main course and help us raise as much money as possible for Sports Traider!
Launching the new dish, Lance Haggith, Sports Traider’s founder says, “This is a great partnership that’s meant we’ve been able to help many talented youngsters in the past and we’re delighted to be aligned with The Embankment again to help even more kids to achieve ambitions that are not usually affordable for them.
“By having “my” salad when you come to the pub, you can do your bit and together we’ll support youngsters in the community who just need a step up. Please use your knife and fork to support us!” he adds.
